What products are used for Plenhyage®?
At Second Look Aesthetics, we use the product Venufill for all non-surgical BBL in Nottingham, East Midlands. We are also able to administer the treatment using Hyacorp if preferred, which will be at an additional cost.
How much product is needed for Plenhyage® treatments?
Plenhyage® is one of our most effective treatments available. We generally suggest a minimum of two sessions to achieve optimal results and ensure long-lasting effects. As this treatment is regenerative, it will continue to work powerfully after the first two weeks, intensifying cell regeneration. Typically, each session utilises 2ml of product, depending on the treatment area. For instance, 2ml usually covers the entire face, including the malar and sub-malar regions, or it can be focused on specific areas like the jawline. For the neck, 2ml is required. The under-eye area also requires 2ml, meaning if you're treating the face or neck as well, additional product will be necessary. Clients generally require 2ml per area, although this amount may vary based on the size and condition of the targeted area.
How long does Plenhyage® take in Nottingham?
Your appointment will usually last around 15 to 20 minutes, including consultation, assessment, and treatment. It’s a quick and efficient procedure that easily fits into your day.
How long do the results of Plenhyage® last?
After completing both initial sessions, results typically last between 6 to 12 months, depending on your skin type and lifestyle choices. Following this, we usually recommend a touch-up every 4 to 6 months to maintain the benefits. Are there any side effects to Plenhyage® Treatments?
Plenhyage® is generally well tolerated and considered low risk. As with any injectable, you might experience slight redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site, which usually resolves within 24 to 48 hours. Bruising is uncommon but can occasionally happen.
Is Plenhyage® painful?
Discomfort is minimal. A topical numbing cream may be applied beforehand to ensure comfort during the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild pinch or pressure, and it is generally very well tolerated.
