The other modules include a theoretical element in which you will be required to study and complete a home study, before attending the clinic for your practical training classes.

During your practical training days, you will receive a lecture from your tutor before proceeding to practice each treatment on live models provided with the close oversight of your tutor. You will then be required to practice on a number of models during your own time for each module and provide evidence and feedback to your tutors.

    How is the course assessed?

After completion of the Anatomy and Physiology module, your competency will be assessed using two online exams which you will complete within our clinic in exam-based conditions. We have a 100% pass rate first time for this exam. The First Aid module is assessed through hands-on learning which you will undertake under the guidance of an experienced first aid trainer.

All other modules contain a theoretical and practical element. You will receive pre-course reading and study material to prepare you for your practical training day. The first part of your practical session will entail a group lecture from your trainer. This will be followed by practical training in small groups.

Live models are provided. Following completion of your practical training, you will be asked to complete case studies in your own time, undertaking the treatments on your own models. You will be asked to document and provide evidence, before being issued with your certificate of achievement for completion of the module.
